Guerrilla Girls: 1985-2015
30-1-15 / 26-4-15
curated by: Xabier Arakistain
This exhibition compiles almost all the work done by the American feminist art collective Guerrilla Girls and inaugurates a series of events in 2015 commemorating the 30th anniversary of the foundation of the collective.
Along with his iconic posters, organized in a chronological sequence, the exhibition shows a series of documents that generate a "context" that tells about the history and production processes of Guerrilla Girls: publications, shirts, correspondence, documentation of actions and exhibitions and other memorabilia and also the documentary Guerrillas in Our Midst, by Amy Harrison in 1992, and the video interview by Xabier Arakistain, curator of the exhibition.
